Logan brought his little bat to the house one day and Grandpa Arlo took the time to teach Logan how to hit the ball. It was so cute! Logan immediately took to Grandpa Arlo. Sometimes it takes a little while for him to warm up to people but he was Grandpa Arlo's bestest friend right off the bat!

On Friday evening Dad, Brad & I went to the "Rider's In The Sky" concert. This happens to be my Dad's most favorite singing group EVER!!! Waaayyy back in August of 2007, I bought the ticket to the concert. The purpose was twofold. One, was it was his birthday gift and second, it was a way to get him to come down and visit us! It worked! We all had a great time. They are a fun old time country western group and they sure do have fun at their concert. We learned much about "The Cowboy Way" and heard some cool old songs. One even brought a tear to my eye. My dad brought me a shirt of their's that he had and so after the concert at the "meet and greet" 3 of the 4 members of the group signed the shirt. My Dad was so proud! He seriously loves these guys.

On Saturday the 3 of us trekked on over to Surprise to a Spring Training game. We saw the Texas Rangers (Wahoo, Texas!) beat the Colorado Rockies. It was really the perfect day to go. I thought we would be baking in the sun but there was a cool breeze blowing and it felt so good! The game was so good too! Sometimes, baseball can be kinda boring but this one was good. We had a great time. It's such a nice stadium over there. I was really surprised at how nice it was. What fun!
The week went by way too fast, as usual. Dad is on his way home as we speak. I know that he's a home body but I love to have him come and hang out with us. Love you tons, Dad!!!

We had lots of fun with Grandpa. I think Logan was a little confused that there were 2 "grandpas", but he sure liked hanging out with him!
Look like tons of fun! I love the pictures of Grandpa teaching Logan to bat. How cute!
