Can Ya Smell It???

I love March in Arizona! The first year our family moved here, it was just about this time of year and each time I would go outside in the yard I would smell the most heavenly smell. I could not, for the life of me, figure out what it was but I knew that it was the most wonderful smell I'd ever experienced. One day I mentioned the amazing aroma to someone and they educated me about orange blossoms. I look forward all year long to the wonderful, sweet scent of orange blossoms. Last year it began exactly on March 1st and by April 1st it was gone. Tonight, as I took the dogs out in the backyard to do their "duty", I finally smelled it! I was thrilled as I looked at my 2 orange trees and saw those tiny blossoms covering my trees. Ahhh . . . I love it!!! I'm sure that this is what heaven smells like! I've heard people complain that the aroma gets too strong but I think it can't be strong enough. Brad and I love to get in the car and drive down the road where there are still orange groves. We roll the windows down and let the scent fill our car and our noses. Each time I smell it I'm reminded of all things beautiful that my Savior has created for me. There are so many unpleasant things in my daily life - but I'm grateful for the beautiful smell of orange blossoms. It's a simple thing that reminds me how incredibly blessed I am and I have so much to be grateful for.

My hands have smelt like oranges all day long! My bishop just called and said they just had their first glass of fresh grapefruit juice and it was heavenly. They said "this fruit will NOT go to waste - we are drinking it every day!"

I agree with megs on the scratch-and-sniff but we also need some updated fax machines don't ya think? Fax one of those up to me Mel. Oh wait, I am heading down in a couple of weeks. Can you push the pause scent for me?
