Man of Miracles

I was so touched and moved today by the funeral of our dear prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. I watched a bit of coverage on BYUTV before the funeral. They replayed a talk he gave at general conference in April of 2006. In that talk he bore the most beautiful testimony. I'm sure at the time I appreciated it but now that he's gone I was so inspired by it. I could hardly control my emotions. I don't know how anyone can doubt that he was a prophet of God and that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ when they listen to President Hinckley bear his witness of the truth. The funeral was a wonderful rememberance of him, his life and his devotion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Everything he did was for his love of the Savior: All of the temples, all of the miles he travelled and the endless hours of service he so willingly gave. He was an incredible and beautiful man in life and even though he's gone he will continue to touch lives all over this world. He was truly "a giant among men" and a "man of miracles".
