Yep, I'm gonna live! I know, I'm such a baby. I did end up going to the doctor today and had a very wonderful PA-C check me out. She was so sweet and really took her time with me. She diagnosed me with INFLUENZA. Surprise, surprise, it's a virus. I pretty much knew it would be but I just needed to know what to do to feel better. She gave a prescription for cough medicine with codeine in it. Can anyone say LALA Land!?! Oh yeah! Good stuff. She also had me pick up some Mucinex D to help break up all the yuck in my chest. And, she
gave me a work release note for today and tomorrow. That probably wasn't totally necessary since I have a wonderful, understanding boss.
Anyway, I've spent the day laying in bed, catching up on my rest and trying to drink a lot of water. I'm sure that I'll be just fine in no time! I'm very blessed with an good husband who does a terrific job of taking care of me and a lot of the other things that get ignored while I'm in bed. Thank heavens for modern medicine is all I can say!!!!
