Faith & Miracles

As each of us go along in life we all too often hit those "bumps" in the road. The past two days have certainly been bumpy for our family. As many of you know, Lindsay and David recently found out that they were expecting a new addition to their family. It was something of a shock for them to say the least. Like all good and loving people, they pondered on it, accepted it and then set their minds to getting excited about this unexpected new addition and blessing to their little family. And get excited they did! Of course there was apprehension and all of the usual wondering how it would all work out but they were moving forward with faith that this was the plan for them.

They were anxious to finally go to the doctor and hear the heartbeat and have that reassurance that all was well. Sadly, that was not the news that they got. I will forever remember holding Lindsay in my arms as we cried together over the loss of that baby. This whole experience has been such a rollercoaster of emotions for Lindsay and David. But, as I have watched them the past two days I have seen miracles already happening in their life. I'm so proud of them and impressed with the way they have handled themselves in their crisis. They have been sad but positive. They have reassured others when their hearts are breaking in two. They have clung to each other and cared for one another. I know that through this experience they will be stronger as individuals and as a couple. They have turned their hearts to the Lord to begin the healing process. My most favorite scripture is found in Isaiah 41:10:

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. "

Lindsay & David, continue to move forward in faith and miracles will follow. Know that your Heavenly Father loves you and is watching over you and has a plan for you and your family. He will strengthen you as you put your trust in Him.
