Making my list and checking it twice

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to rush things along but, holy cow, Christmas is coming up fast! Have you started your shopping? I don't usually start this early except the year that I had Kip (Nov. 7) and I had everything pretty much done by the time he was born. Anyway, I've been working on a Christmas project to give a family member and I'm just getting so excited for the holidays, especially with Logan being 2 years old. He will have an absolute blast this year and I can't wait to see his face as he opens all his gifts. It's been a long time since we've had a little one that can't contain their excitement on Christmas. I do have a few other things purchased but most of it seems to be for Logan and I get so excited I want to give it to him now but I have to wait!!!

I get a bit grumpy when people seem to go right from Halloween to Christmas so I have to put in a plug for Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving!!! I wish it got more attention than it does but I hope that I can take the time this holiday season and truly reflect on my blessings.

However you celebrate these upcoming holidays, I hope you enjoy each and everyone of them!

The only things I have gotten so far for christmas is for B who will be 4 by then and K who is 2 and then ofcourse the grandbaby who will be just over 1. Otherwise the rest of the oldies in the family have nothing! hehe the little ones are so fun. I like thanksgiving also, it seems like its more of a lazy long weekend with family (beside the after thanksgiving shopping. hehe)

I haven't done much in the way of Christmas, but my goal is to have the majority done by December 1st. I need to get a move on!

I hear you about Thanksgiving though. It is such a wonderful holiday, and it is kind of sad it doesn't get more recognition.

This will be my first year hosting both Thanksgiving & Christmas (1st time ever for Christmas), and it is my goal to make them special days for all of us. Let's hope I succeed! :-)

Christmas WILL be here fast! I love it too and getting really excited, but you're right Halloween first, and THEN Thanksgiving!

I have to get through this move from NC to TN first! :)

Have a great day, Hun!

I went Christmas and birthday shopping today after work. But I really started shopping for Christmas when Megan started selling those adorable books!

I have a good start! BUT - I always do and STILL end up in a mad rush at the end! I hate that! I really am determined to not do that this year! Of course I am every year!

We got snow here this weekend and so it kind of put me in the Holiday mood!
