Well, here it is just about 5:30 AM and I just got back from my morning walk. I have to say that as we were walking along this morning, we turned a corner and faced east and we were greeted by the most beautiful sunrise! It was absolutely amazing and it just so big and beautiful! It was almost mesmorizing to watch it as we walked along. We always have incredible sunsets here but this was the first sunrise that took my breath away and I've seen way too many sunrises here! It makes me so grateful to live in such a wonderful place - even though it is so hot and muggy here right now. Experiences like this morning just help me appreciate the everyday miracles that we forget to notice or we get to busy to notice. We are truly surrounded by miracles and it's so easy to get caught up in the ugliness that can overwhelm us on a daily basis. I hope you all have a beautiful day!

Is that a googled picture? Or is that one you took this morning?? I love the sunrises and sunsets here - GORGEOUS!
Thanks for the great reminder! I will look for great things today because of your reminder... Have a good one! I love that picture.
I only see sunsets because I refuse to get up early enough to see the sun rise :) although we did see it come up a couple of times when we were back east. Every day is beautiful if you just look for it.
Great post and great photo! I love the cartoon on your sidebar too about gratitude and complaints! How true that is!
Awe! I haven't seen a sunrise since I was up with the a vomiting baby all night! For some reason, my vision was too blurred to notice though.
Have a great week! I'll keep my eye out for sunrises!
I so proud of you just for getting up in time to see the sun rise! I don't know if I've ever done that.... I love the hampster picture and I'm stealing it :) I freaked out when I read Lindsay's blog about the thyroid problem, but I'm guessing that when you wrote in your blog that it's controllable there were no spots found in the ultrasound, so I feel way better. What a brave girl!
I love all your graduation pictures / slideshow! It looks like a major celebration!
I read the part about getting back from your walk at 5:30, and I thought Wow! Why would you want to be up that early?!? But then I thought well, when it's 150 degrees during the day earlier is better.
