Take a long look at the silhouette of the spinning young lady below!
If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN
Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking.
The following table illustrates the differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:

Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain ones. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity.
I started out seeing her move clockwise but then she started spinning counter clockwise, and then back to clockwise! Not sure what that means, I must be really smart and creative, bwhahahaha!!

what does it mean if the first time i saw it she was clockwise but when i opened your blog just now she was counter clockwise?!?!?!?!
and without lindsay...so far my workload has no increased at all...i still blog all day long!
At first it was totally going clockwise - then I started reading everything and then she started going counter-clockwise. It was the trippiest thing EVER!!!
I can only see her going clockwise. That is pretty cool!

That is trippin!! I could see it both ways and John could only see in clockwise really hurt my brain thinking about it! OK, so first she was going counter clockwise and I though 'Hey, good joke Mel!" Then she went to other way! That's so weird! So I told Sven to come in a see it. He said he only saw her go counter clockwise. He also thought it was quite explict since she was obviously nude (he was specific enough to point out how he could tell, like I hadn't already NOTICED!) I know he loved it. MEN!

Wow...this post sure got a lot of comments! And that spinning lady is really moving fast today...I keep checking back to see if I'll be able to see her going counter-clockwise...hasn't happened yet. Now I know why Corey and I see things in such different ways! He's absolutely left-brained. (I didn't even notice her being naked what with being totally blacked out and all...you dirty-minded men!)
