My latest project . . .

So, I have a little 2nd hand store that I love to frequent. I stopped by one day and found this ugly shelf. I was pretty darn exctied because I'd actually been looking for a shelf for all of my books that I didn't know where to put but I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$. It was definitely ugly but cheap. When my Dad came down to visit we went to Home Depot and bought some trim to kind of dress it up a bit. The trim ended up costing more than the shelf cost. Dad and Brad put the trim on when I was at work one day and I loved it! I took the shelf outside in the backyard and put it up on the table to paint it. I left it there to dry. The wind started blowing hard the shelf fell off of the table and crashed through my bedroom window! So, what started out as a simple, inexpensive project ended up costing WAY too much money. But, now it's done and I really love it!
