Loving Long Holiday Weekends!!!

Thanksgiving was an awesome day! We had a houseful: Lindsay, David & Logan, Kip, Brein, the Singletons, and our neighbors across the street, the Garrisons. It was a fairly easy dinner to make since everyone pitched in and helped out with something or several somethings. Thanks for all the help and good food! This year we bought an electric roaster and cooked the turkey in that instead of the oven. We put it outside in the garage on top of the huge dog kennel (how redneck are we!!!). Wish I'd gotten a picture of that!

Even the dogs wanted to be right in the middle of it all

On Black Friday Brein and I met Lindsay & Logan at Kohl's then went to the mall and then to Target. By that point Logan was past exhausted! He's a great little shopper but he was done! He was asleep when we went into Target and he slept the whole time until he smelled lunch! We had a great time shopping and the crowds weren't too bad (probably because it was later in the morning).

On Saturday we took it easy. Brad made me breakfast in bed (thanks Honeypooh!) and then we got cleaned up and me, Brad and Brein went and saw Four Christmases. It a funny, dumb movie. We hadn't been to a movie in a while (not counting Twilight) so it was just fun to get out.

By Sunday I was beyond exhausted but it was all so worth it to have my family and friends with us and enjoy such a great 4 day weekend. I love it and now it's time to officially begin celebrating the Christmas holiday. I'm so excited!!!
