FORGOTTEN . . . UM, OH YEAH, CAROLS!

I know, it's been a little while since I posted and I'm way behind but, hey, it's been a busy time of year. I hope all of you had an amazingly wonderful Christmas. It sure was a ton of fun here but first things first! On Monday, December 22 the whole family (excluding Logan) went to
The Forgotten Carols. It's an annual event for our family and I sure hope that Michael Mclean lives forever so we can always enjoy this awesome play. It's such a great way to celebrate Christmas. The evening was Grandpa Arlo's Christmas gift to us including dinner at Claim Jumper. Thanks!

Here are just a few of the highlights from that night.

Here are the girls with JORDAN BLUTH - the hometown boy!

Okay, these next 3 are me talking to Michael Mclean and his wife. Many years ago, Brad, me, and our friends that lived in Georgia at the time went to SLC to see a matinee preformance of "Celebrating the Light". When we got there we found out that it had been cancelled due to low ticket sales. Michael Mclean was there at the school where the show was to be held. He came over to our small group and he felt so bad about some of us coming clear from Georgia that he and Brad pulled the piano over close to the seats and he proceeded for the next 2 hours to give us a private concert and to tell us how many of his songs came to be. It was a dream come true! Then he gave us tickets to that nights show right up front and center and gave us free CD's signed by him. So . . . (short story long) I was asking him if he remembered that day. He laughed and his wife said she remembered it too and that they had felt so bad.

There will be Christmas pictures coming soon. I'm sure you are all anxiously awaiting them. Hahaha!!! Stay tuned!

Wow! I had no idea about your privite concert with Michael McLean! I love his music too. I remember listening to a song in your car when I was little about Noah's ark, "it's raining, it's pouring, it's boring, the animals are snoring... and it's raining! It's pouring!" At least I think that was a Micheal McLean song ...
