Brad & I just got back from a very quick trip up to Utah. We spent a fun day Friday up at Bear Lake with the usual crowd. Oh my gosh! We were driving through Logan canyon and the car registered that it was 43 degrees outside at 6:30 AM. HOLY COW - that's dang cold!!! I don't think I've seen 43 degrees since . . . oh yeah, the last time I was in Utah and that was in JANAUARY!!! It was a very chilly day and I'm so lame I didn't even make it down to the water. I sat myself in a chair and didn't move much the rest of the day. I had a great time visiting with everyone while Brad played 18 holes of golf with the guys. He had a great time too. We sat around a campfire in the evening and sang songs accompanied by Sherry on the guitar, of course. We even called Lindsay on the phone and sang "Goodnight Sweethart" to her. It's tradition! We got home that same night by 11:30. Man, I was tired. All that shivering from the cold took it out of me. On Sunday after church I had everyone over to Dad's for Sunday dinner. It's so rare that we can get together. It's always loud and crazy but fun. Dad even invited his friend, Joyce to the gathering. I was so glad to finally meet her as I've heard a lot about her from Dad and my siblings. She's a great lady and fun to be around except when she grounds you!
We got home (back to AZ) late last night and now it's back to the grind. Believe it or not I have no more summer vacations/trips planned. The party is over! It's been a wonderful summer and Brad and I have been blessed to be able to do so many fun things.

I can't believe you were in UTAH! Next time you come let's at least have ice cream!! Looks like you have had a fun summer.
