VIVA LAS VEGAS!

For Christmas Brad and I promised to only spend a small amount on each other for gifts. However, after we were all finshed opening our presents he handed me an envelope that said
"HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!"

Inside of it were tickets to the Donny & Marie show in
Las Vegas
on Valentines Day!

We both took Friday the 12th off from work and we were planning on getting up and going first thing in the morning. However, I heard this quiet little knock at my front door. When I opened the door there stood my Bubba!!! I had no idea that Lindsay was coming to spend the day before heading out to Cali for the weekend. I was beyond happy to spend a little time with my babies before leaving for Vegas. We had a wonderful time eating breakfast together, playing and riding the 4-wheeler. It was a great way to begin the weekend.
It was a beautiful ride over. . . and then we were just this side of Hoover Dam. The traffic was horrible and we were completely stopped for about a half our. Here we are trying to entertain ourselves.
Long line of cars . . .
Brad remembered that his parents had seen some goats off the side of the road and mentioned it to me. Just then I spotted a bunch of them. In total I think we saw 7 of them.
Here is the new bridge. The crazy thing is that in the "basket" above the arch was men being transported from one end to the other. CRAZY!!! We had a great time in Vegas. We wandered around the strip and ate at the buffets until we were sick and we shopped and got presents for the kids.

On Saturday night we went to the concert. It was way fun. It was a 3 hour concert! That's a long time to perform! We were close enough to see the sweat on Donny's face. He even had his trophy from Dancing with the Star's there. We couldn't take pictures during the show so I had to take this one after just outside of the theatre.
Driving down the strip after the show I took this picture out my sunroof in the car. Just thought it was kinda cool!

Since I had bought the kids presents I had to go out to Lindsay's when we got home. I was dying to spend some time with Logan and Ava. We had a great time while Lindsay got out of the house and went to a Relief Society activity.

Logan took pictures of me and Ava.

I took a picture of him with his presents but the little stinker
wouldn't stop looking at the TV.
Logan and Ava almost ready for bed.

Thanks to my Sweetie for such an awesome Valentines Day gift and for a relaxing weekend away from reality for a few days. He's the best hubby ever and I'm so grateful he's my valentine!

So glad you had fun!!
I wish we could think of somewhere we would like to take off for a couple of days. We just can't decide. And Vegas is NOT somewhere we would really like to go. The last time we went, we decided we would NOT go again.
