Meet Bishop Bennett

On Sunday, Father's Day, David became the bishop of his ward. HOLY COW!!! None of us saw this coming but I know that he will do a great job in the new, huge responsibility. I loved what he said when he spoke in church on Sunday: Whom the Lord calls, he qualifies. I know that there is a reason that David had been put in this position. It's hard to understand why someone so young with so much on their plate would be given this calling. But I know that there is something that only he can accomplish and I know he will touch many lives for good! I'm so proud of you and the way that you have lived your life to be able to be given this calling.
