Confessions of a slacker blogger~

Yes, I'm a slacker blogger! And I can sum it up all in one simple word:
OVERWHELMED!
There's been a lot of stuff happening around here lateley and I think it just overwhelmed to the point that doing nothing was easier than taking care of business!

So, first, there was EASTER!!! Fun, fun day! Here's a little slideshow for ya:

Then there was baseball fun in our livingroom with The Mighty Logan

hitting homeruns all over the place!!

Then we had company from Utah! Jody, Pat & Zak came to visit for a couple of days! FUN! Zak enjoyed getting his butt kick by Brad on the Wii. It was fun to watch the competition between the two Men!
The next day the girls went out to visit Lindsay and Logan. We went to lunch at Mimi's and then came back to the house to be entertained by Logan. He loved showing off all of his Moster Jam trucks. He loves to line them up and then CRASH them. It was way fun to see him warm up to Jody and Pat. He hasn't seen them since Lake Powell in Aug. and so he was a little bit shy at first but it didn't take him long to fall in love with them.

Then the following Saturday Lindsay and Logan came to visit. Lindsay's friend Kim was having a birthday party for her little girl that just turned 2 and she asked Lindsay to decorate the birthday cake. She did a fabulous job too.

While Lindsay was off doing the cake, Logan and I were hanging out at the house. I put him in the high chair and did what Mammaw does best and gave her little guy a treat! I turned on the TV for him and I told him that "Handy Manny" was on but he kept saying "Crash". Well, I guess I have a REDNECK grandson! He didn't want to watch cartoons like most kids, he wanted to watch NASCAR, which just happened to be in Phoenix that weekend. He was enthralled by the race, especially when one of the cars actually did crash into the wall and the fire trucks had to come to the rescue!


Whew! I did it. You are now up to date on the life and times of the McMillan's. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but I may need to go take a nap now from all the strenuous blogging!
